Commencement of Operation of
Kwai Tsui Estate Public Transport Interchange, Kwai Chung
Members of the public are advised that the Kwai Tsui Estate Public Transport Interchange will be opened for use with effect from 1 February 2019 (Friday). To tie in with the opening of the Public Transport Interchange, the service of the following public transport services will be adjusted since the first departure on 1 February 2019:
(1) KMB Route no. 59A:
- The route will be extended to Kwai Tsui Estate Public Transport Interchange.
- Trips for Kwai Fong bound will travel via Kwai Chung Road, Kwai Foo Road and Kwai Yi Road to the new terminus at the Kwai Tsui Estate Public Transport Interchange. Passengers who currently alight at the stop on Kwai Chung Road near Kwai Fong Estate can continue to alight at the same stop or at the new terminus.
- Trips for Tuen Mun Pier Head bound will depart from the new terminus at the Kwai Tsui Estate Public Transport Interchange via Kwai Yi Road, Kwai Fuk Road roundabout, Kwai Yi Road, Kwai Foo Road and Kwai Chung Road before resuming original routing. Passengers who currently board at the stop on Kwai Chung Road near Kwai Fong Estate can continue to board at the same stop or at the new terminus.
(2) NT GMB 94 (Shek Wai Kok - Kwai Shing) and 94A (Lei Muk Shue Estate Public Transport Interchange - Kwai Shing):
- The en-route stop on Kwai Yi Road (Southbound) near Kwai Tsui Estate will be relocated into the Kwai Tsui Estate Public Transport Interchange.
Public Transport Services operators will put up notice to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
