Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Fanling Highway, North District

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the road works on Fanling Highway, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 00.30 am to 05.30am on 17 July 2019:

(I)   ROAD CLOSURE

The section of Fanling Highway northbound from its junction with the slip road leading to Pak Wo Road (Exit 7B) to its junction with So Kwun Po Road roundabout will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(II)   TRAFFIC DIVERSION

1.  Vehicles on Fanling Highway northbound heading for Sheung Shui will be diverted via slip road (Exit 7B), Pak Wo Road westbound, So Kwun Po Road northbound, roundabout, slip road and Fanling Highway northbound.

2.  Vehicles on Fanling Highway northbound heading for Jockey Club Road will be diverted via slip road (Exit 7B), Pak Wo Road westbound, Wah Ming Road southbound, roundabout, Wah Ming Road northbound, Pak Wo Road eastbound and Jockey Club Road.

(III)   PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICES ARRANGEMENTS

(A)  Franchised Bus Services

1.  KMB Route no. 277E (Tin Ping Estate bound) will be diverted via slip road (Exit 7B) and Pak Wo Road westbound before resuming its original routing.

2.  KMB Route no. W3 (Sheung Shui bound) will be diverted via slip road (Exit 7B), Pak Wo Road westbound, So Kwun Po Road northbound, roundabout, So Kwun Po Road northbound, slip road and San Wan Road before resuming its original routing.

3.  Long Win Bus Route no. N42A (Luen Wo Hui bound) will be diverted via slip road (Exit 7B), Pak Wo Road westbound, So Kwun Po Road northbound, roundabout, So Kwun Po Road northbound, slip road and San Wan Road before resuming its original routing.

(B)  Green Minibus Services

GMB Route No. 616S (Lok Ma Chau bound) will be diverted via slip road (Exit 7B), Pak Wo Road westbound, So Kwun Po Road northbound, roundabout, slip road and Fanling Highway northbound before resuming its original routing.

        Appropriate traffic aids will be erected on site. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
