Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Heung Yuen Wai Highway, North District

　　Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the Heung Yuen Wai Highway Road Cycling Event, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented:

I.   Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

From 02.00 am to 09.30 am on 22 September 2019 (Sunday)

1.   The slip roads connecting Lin Ma Hang Road and Lin Ma Hang Road Interchange; and
2.   Lin Ma Hang Road Interchange.

From 02.00 am to 3.00 pm on 22 September 2019 (Sunday)

1.   The Heung Yuen Wai Highway (including Lung Shan Tunnel and Cheung Shan Tunnel);
2.   The slip roads connecting Fanling Highway and Heung Yuen Wai Highway;
3.   The slip roads connecting Sha Tau Kok Road Interchange and Heung Yuen Wai Highway;
4.   The slip roads connecting Ping Yeung Interchange and Heung Yuen Wai Highway; and
5.   The slip roads connecting Lin Ma Hang Road Interchange and Heung Yuen Wai Highway.

II.   Traffic Diversion

1.    Vehicles on Fanling Highway northbound heading for Sha Tau Kok, Ping Yeung and Lin Ma Hang will be diverted via Fanling Highway northbound, slip road (exit 7C), Pak Wo Road northbound, Jockey Club Road northbound and Sha Tau Kok Road eastbound;
2.    Vehicles on Fanling Highway southbound heading for Sha Tau Kok, Ping Yeung and Lin Ma Hang will be diverted via Fanling Highway southbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, Ma Sik Road eastbound and Sha Tau Kok Road eastbound;
3.    Vehicles on Lin Ma Hang Road southbound heading for Kowloon will be diverted Lin Ma Hang Road southbound, Ping Che Road southbound, Sha Tau Kok Road westbound, Jockey Club Road southbound, slip road and Fanling Highway southbound;
4.    Vehicles from Ping Yeung  heading for Kowloon will be diverted Ping Yuen Road westbound, Ping Che Road southbound, Sha Tau Kok Road westbound, Jockey Club Road southbound, slip road and Fanling Highway southbound; and
5.    Vehicles on Sha Tau Kok Road westbound heading for Kowloon will be diverted Sha Tau Kok Road westbound, Jockey Club Road southbound, slip road and Fanling Highway southbound.

　　Appropriate temporary traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Motorists are reminded to observe the instruction of the Police on site.
