Transport Department Notice

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kai Cheung Road, Kowloon Bay

　　Notice is hereby given that the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements to facilitate road works on Kai Cheung Road originally scheduled to be implemented with effect from 10.00 am on 16 November 2019 will be deferred and implemented with effect from 10.00 am on 30 November 2019 to 6.00 pm on 14 June 2021.

Traffic Arrangement

Road Closure

The U-turn slip road connecting Kai Cheung Road westbound and Kai Cheung Road eastbound near Kowloon International Trade and Exhibition Centre will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

Traffic Diversion

Affected vehicles on Kai Cheung Road westbound heading to Kai Cheung Road eastbound via the U-turn slip road will be diverted via Kai Fuk Road eastbound, Wang Kwong Road northbound and Kai Cheung Road.

Transport Arrangement

　　New Territories GMBs route no. 110 (heading to Kowloon City), route no. 110A (heading to Kowloon Bay) and route no. 111 (heading to San Po Kong) will be diverted via Kai Cheung Road westbound, Kai Fuk Road eastbound, Wang Kwong Road northbound and Kai Cheung Road eastbound before resuming the original routeing. The existing GMB stops of the above routes near Sino Industrial Plaza at Kai Cheung Road eastbound will be suspended.

　　Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public transport operator will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
