Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations (Chapter 374 SUB. LEG. G)
Restricted Zones on Bride's Pool Road and Luk Keng Road, North District
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 3 April 2020, the following sections on Bride's Pool Road and Luk Keng Road will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
1. The section of northern kerbside lane of the Public Car Park at Bride's Pool Road near Luk Keng Road from its junction with the eastern kerbside of the same car park to a point about 16 metres west of the same junction;
2. The section of eastern kerbside lane of the Public Car Park at Bride's Pool Road near Luk Keng Road from its junction with the northern kerbside of the same car park to a point about 12 metres south of the same junction;
3. The section of northern kerbside lane of Bride's Pool Road from its junction with Luk Keng Road to a point about 50 metres east of the same junction;
4. The section of southern kerbside lane of Bride's Pool Road from its junction with Luk Keng Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction; and
5. The section of Luk Keng Road from a point about 30 metres north of its junction with Bride’s Pool Road to a point about 16 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zones from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily on part of the above road sections will be rescinded.
