Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Wong Chu Road, Tuen Mun

        Motorists are advised that to facilitate directional sign modification works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tuen Mun from 12.30 am to 6.00 am on 28 and 31 July 2020, 4, 7, 11, 14, 18 and 21 August 2020:

(a)   Road Closure

The following road sections will be closed to all vehicular traffic:

-  The section of Wong Chu Road westbound between Yau Oi Sports Centre and Lung Yat Estate; and

-  The slip road leading from Hoi Wong Road northbound to Wong Chu Road westbound.

(b)   Traffic Diversion

-  Affected motorists on Wong Chu Road westbound heading for Lung Mun Road are advised to travel via Hoi Wong Road southbound and Wu Shan Road westbound; and

-  Affected motorists on Hoi Wong Road northbound heading for Lung Mun Road are advised to travel via Hoi Chu Road eastbound, Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road southbound, Hoi Wing Road westbound, Hoi Wong Road southbound and Wu Shan Road westbound.

(c)   Service Adjustments of Bus and GMB

-  Service Adjustments of Bus and GMB routes will be as follows:

KMB Route 59M	Tuen Mun Pier Head	The routes will be diverted via Hoi Wong Road southbound, Wu Shan Road westbound, Lung Mun Road northbound, Lung Mun Oasis roundabout and resume original routing.

GMB Route 44

-  The bus stop of route nos. KMB 59M and 59X on Wong Chu Road westbound outside Lung Yat Estate will be suspended.

        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instruction and drive with utmost care.
