ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Hong Ning Road and Shung Yan Street, Kwun Tong

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 28 August 2020, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily.

　　(a)　the section of Shung Yan Street from its junction with Hong Ning Road to a point about 10 metres east of the same junction;

　　(b)　the eastern kerbside lane of Hong Ning Road from its junction with Shung Yan Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction; and

　　(c)　the eastern kerbside lane of Hong Ning Road from its junction with Shung Yan Street to a point about 20 metres south of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

　　(a)　picking up or setting down passengers; or
　　(b)　loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
