ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)
Restricted Zones in Kowloon Tong
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 3 September 2020, the following road sections in Kowloon Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-
(a) The section of Tim Fuk Road from its junction with Norfolk Road to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;
(b) The northern kerbside lane of Norfolk Road from its junction with Tim Fuk Road to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction;
(c) The northern kerbside lane of Norfolk Road from its junction with Tim Fuk Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction;
(d) The southern kerbside lane of Norfolk Road from a point about 20 metres west of its junction with Tim Fuk Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction;
(e) The section of Norfolk Road from its junction with To Fuk Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;
(f) The eastern kerbside lane of To Fuk Road from its junction with Norfolk Road to a point about 45 metres north of the same junction;
(g) The eastern kerbside lane of To Fuk Road from its junction with Norfolk Road to a point about 30 metres south of the same junction; and
(h) The western kerbside lane of To Fuk Road from a point about 25 metres north of its junction with Norfolk Road to a point about 35 metres south of the same junction.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
