ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER  374, SUB. LEG. G)

Restricted Zones in Sai Wan Ho

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 25 September 2020, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

i.   the southern kerbside lane of Hing Man Street from its junction with Hoi An Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction (excluding the parking spaces outside No. 54 Hing Man Street);

ii.  the northern kerbside lane of Hing Man Street from its junction with Hoi An Street to a point about 10 metres west of the same junction; and

iii. the western kerbside lane of Hoi An Street from its junction with Hing Man Street to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)   loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
