ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Pik Wan Road, Kwun Tong

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 9 October 2020, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily.

　　(a)　the section of Pik Wan Road westbound from a point about 30 metres west of its junction with the Roundabout near Kwong Tin Shopping Centre to a point about 65 metres east of the same junction;

　　(b)　the northern kerbside lane of Pik Wan Road eastbound from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with the Roundabout near Kwong Tin Shopping Centre to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction; and

　　(c)　the northern kerbside lane of Pik Wan Road eastbound from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with the Roundabout near Kwong Tin Shopping Centre to a point about 65 metres east of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

　　(a)　picking up or setting down passengers; or
　　(b)　loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
