ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zone on Argyle Street, Kowloon City

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 9 October 2020, the southern kerbside lane of Argyle Street from a point about 75 metres west of its junction with Waterloo Road to a point about 85 metres west of the same junction with be designated as a restricted zone from 7.00 am to  7.00 pm daily:-

　　Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses, taxis and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

　　(a)　picking up or setting down passengers; or
　　(b)　loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road section will be rescinded.
