ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)

Restricted Zones in To Kwa Wan

  In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 9 October 2020, the following road sections in To Kwa Wan will be designated as restricted zones during the time periods specified below:

I. From 7.00 am to 12.00 midnight daily

(a) the southern kerbside lane of Chi Kiang Street from a point about 15 metres east of the its junction with Ma Tau Wai Road southbound to its junction with To Kwa Wan Road northbound;

(b) the western kerbside lane of To Kwa Wan Road northbound from a point about 150 metres south of its junction with Chi Kiang Street to the same junction; and

(c) the eastern kerbside lane of Ma Tau Wai Road southbound from a point about 10 metres south of its junction with Chi Kiang Street to a point about 150 metres south of the same junction.

II. From 8.00 am to 10.00 am and from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily

(a) the northern kerside lane of Chi Kiang Street from a point about 10 metres east of its junction with Ha Heung Road to its junction with To Kwa Wan Road northbound.

III. 24 hours daily

(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Ma Tau Wai Road southbound from a point about 25 metres north of its junction with Chi Kiang Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;

(b) the section of Chi Kiang Street from its junction with Ma Tau Wai Road southbound to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;

(c) the northern kerbside lane of Chi Kiang Street from a point about 15 metres west of its junction with Ha Heung Road to point about 10 metres east of the same junction;

(d) the western kerbside lane of Ha Heung Road from its junction with Chi Kiang Street to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction; and

(e) the eastern kerbside lane of Ha Heung Road from its junction with Chi Kiang Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction.

  Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  (a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
  (b) loading or unloading goods.

  The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

  At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
