ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones in Hoi Ting Road and Hoi Wang Road, Tai Kok Tsui

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 10 November 2020, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a)  the section of Hoi Ting Road from its northern junction with Hoi Wang Road to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction; and

(b)  the western kerbside lane of Hoi Wang Road from its northern junction with Hoi Ting Road to a point about 15 metres north of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

　　(a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
　　(b)  loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
