ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones in LOHAS Park Station Public Transport Interchange

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation (14)(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight on 30 October 2020, the following road sections in LOHAS Park Station Public Transport Interchange will be designated as restricted zones from 7.00 a.m. to 12.00 midnight daily:-

(a)   both kerbside lanes of access road leading to the first bay from the south end of the north-eastern section of the LOHAS Park Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lohas Park Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;

(b)   both kerbside lanes of the access road leading to the second bay from the south end of the north-eastern section of the LOHAS Park Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lohas Park Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;

(c)   both kerbside lanes of the access road leading to the egress of the north-eastern section of the LOHAS Park Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lohas Park Road to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction;

(d)   the eastern kerbside lane of the access road leading to the south-western section of the LOHAS Park Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lohas Park Road to a point about 13 metres south of the same junction;

(e)   the western kerbside lane of the access road leading to the egress of the south-western section of the LOHAS Park Station Public Transport Interchange from its junction with Lohas Park Road to a point about 13 metres south of the same junction; and

(f)   the southern kerbside lane of the first bay of the north-eastern section from the south from a point of about 103 metres south of its junction with Lohas Park Road to a point about 116 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:-

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)   loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
