ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Extension of Temporary Prohibited Zone for Vehicles Exceeding 5 metres in Length in Ying Fuk Street, Yuen Long

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 6.01 p.m. on 26 July 2020 to 6:00 p.m. on 26 January 2021, the section of Ying Fuk Street from a point about 20 metres west of its junction with Hung Shun Road will continue to be temporarily designated as prohibited zone 24 hours daily for all motor vehicles exceeding 5 metres in length.

        Drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles exceeding 5 metres in length into the above prohibited zone.

        The extent of the prohibited zone has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings. At the same time, the existing prohibited zone on the above road section will continue to be rescinded.
