ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (Chapter 374)

Restricted Zones on Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Heights, Sha Tin

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 17 November 2020, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a)   the eastern kerbside lane of Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Heights from a point about 12 metres south of its junction with the egress of the car park at Tai Po Road Look-out to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction; and

(b)   the section of an unnamed road section west of Keng Hau Road connecting Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Heights from its western junction with Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Heights to a point about 27 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)   loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
