ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Chong Yip Street, Kwun Tong

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 20 November 2020, the following road sections in Kwun Tong will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily.

　　(a)  the northern kerbside lane of Chong Yip Street from a point about 95 metres west of its junction with How Ming Lane to a point about 115 metres west of the same junction; and

　　(b)  the southern kerbside lane of Chong Yip Street from a point about 90 metres west of its junction with How Ming Street to a point about 100 metres west of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

　　(a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
　　(b)  loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zone on the above road sections will be rescinded.
