ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones in Anchor Street, Tai Kok Tsui

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 27 November 2020, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

　　(a)  the western kerbside lane of Elm Street from its junction with Anchor Street to a point about 20 metres north of the same junction;

　　(b)  the eastern kerbside lane of Elm Street from its junction with Anchor Street to a point about 10 metres north of the same junction;

　　(c)  the northern kerbside lane of Anchor Street from its junction with Elm Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;

　　(d)  the section of Anchor Street from its junction with Beech Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;

　　(e)  the section of Tit Shu Street from its junction with Anchor Street to a point about 15 metres south of the same junction;

　　(f)  the section of Anchor Street from its junction with Tit Shu Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;

　　(g)  the section of Oak Street (excluding parking spaces) from a point about 20 metres north of its junction with Anchor Street to a point about 10 metres south of the same junction; and

　　(h)  the section of Anchor Street from a point about 10 metres west of its junction with Oak Street to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction.

　　Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

　　(a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
　　(b)  loading or unloading goods.

　　The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

　　At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
