ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Ting Fu Street and Ting On Street, Kwun Tong

  In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 18 December 2020, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  (a)  The section of Ting Fu Street from its western junction with Ting On Street to a point about 25 metres south of the same junction; and

  (b)  The southern kerbside lane of Ting On Street from a point about 15 metres east its western junction with Ting Fu Street to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction; and

  (c)  The northern kerbside lane of Ting On Street from a point about 15 metres east of its western junction with Ting Fu Street to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction.

  Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
  (b)  loading or unloading goods.

  The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

  At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above-mentioned road sections will be rescinded.
