ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones in Yuen Shun Circuit, Sha Tin

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 27 November 2020, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

i.   the northern kerbside lane of Yuen Shun Circuit (near Hong Kong Police Siu Lek Yuen Operation Base) from a point about 90 metres west of its junction with Yuen On Street to a point about 110 metres west of the same junction;

ii.  the southern kerbside lane of Yuen Shun Circuit (near Hong Kong Police Siu Lek Yuen Operation Base) from a point about 66 metres west of its junction with Yuen On Street to a point about 110 metres west of the same junction; and

iii. the northern kerbside lane of Yuen Shun Circuit (near Siu Lek Yuen Fire Station) from its junction with Ngau Pai Sha Street to a point about 12 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(i)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(ii)  loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
