ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zone on Hong Ting Road, Hong Tsuen Road and Hong Nin Path, Sai Kung

        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation (14)(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 15 December 2020, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a)   the section of Hong Ting Road from its junction with Hong Tsuen Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction;

(b)   the northern kerbside lane of Hong Tsuen Road from a point about 25 metres west from its junction with Hong Ting Road to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction;

(c)   the section of Hong Nin Path from its junction with Hong Tsuen Road to a point about 25 metres north of the same junction; and

(d)   the northern kerbside lane of Hong Tsuen Road from a point about 20 metres west from its junction with Hong Nin Path to a point about 20 metres east of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)   loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zone will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

        At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
