TRAFFIC ADVICE

Temporary Traffic and Public Transport Arrangements at
North West Tsing Yi Interchange and Tsing Yi North Coastal Road

　　Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the road resurfacing works, the following temporary traffic and public transport arrangements will be implemented from 12.01 am to 6.00 am on 22 December 2020 (Tuesday):

(I)　Traffic Arrangements

　　(a)  Road closure

　　The following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic:

(i)  The slip road leading from North West Tsing Yi Interchange northbound near Lantau Link Visitors’ Centre to Kowloon and Lantau;
(ii)  Tsing Yi North Coastal Road westbound between Tsing Tsuen Road and North West Tsing Yi Interchange (except for the traffic lane leading to Cheung Shue Tau); and
(iii)  Parts of the traffic lanes of North West Tsing Yi Interchange southbound near the slip road leading from Tsing Long Highway southbound to Lantau Link (Lantau bound).

　　(b)  Temporary speed limit

　　The speed limit of the following road sections will be temporarily adjusted to 50 km/hour:

(i)  The section of Tsing Long Highway southbound between Ting Kau Bridge (near Central Tower) and North West Tsing Yi Interchange; and
(ii)  The section of North West Tsing Yi Interchange southbound near the slip road leading from Tsing Long Highway southbound to the Lantau Link (Lantau bound).

　　(c)  Traffic diversion

(i)  Vehicles on North West Tsing Yi Interchange northbound near Lantau Link Visitors’ Centre heading for Lantau will be diverted via Tsing Yi North Coastal Road eastbound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound, Tsing Yi Road West southbound, Cheung Tsing Highway westbound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange;

(ii)  Vehicles on North West Tsing Yi Interchange northbound near Lantau Link Visitors’ Centre heading for Kowloon will be diverted via Tsing Yi North Coastal Road eastbound; and

(iii)  Vehicles on Tsing Tsuen Road westbound heading for Lantau will be diverted via Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound, Tsing Yi Road West southbound, Cheung Tsing Highway westbound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange.

(II)　Public Transport Arrangements

 

            The following bus/ residents’ services routes will be temporarily diverted, with no bus stop being affected:

A41, A41P, E32A, E41, N42, N42A, NA40 and NA41	To Lantau/ Airport	via Tsing Tsuen Road westbound, Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound, Tsing Yi Road West southbound, Cheung Tsing Highway westbound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange.
Residents’ services route no. NR330, NR331, NR331S and NR332	To Ma Wan
Long Win Bus route no. A31and NA31	To Lantau/ Airport	via Tam Kon Shan Interchange, Fung Shue Wo Road southbound, Tsing Yi Road West southbound, Cheung Tsing Highway westbound and North West Tsing Yi Interchange.

 

  Motorists are advised to drive with care and patience when approaching the above road sections. Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists.
