ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Cameron Road and Cameron Lane, Tsim Sha Tsui

  In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1) (b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 31 December 2020, the following road sections in Tsim Sha Tsui will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

  (a)  the section of Cameron Lane from its junction with Cameron Road to a point about 5 metres north of the same junction; and

  (b)  the northern kerbside lane of Cameron Road from a point about 5 metres west of its junction with Cameron Lane to a point about 5 metres east of the same junction.

  Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
  (b)  loading or unloading goods.

  The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

  At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
