ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS
(CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)

Extension of Temporary Restricted Zones on Farm Road and Ying Choi Path, To Kwa Wan

  In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 1 January 2021 to 31 March 2021, the following road sections on Farm Road and Ying Choi Path will continue to be temporarily designated as restricted zones at the periods specified below:

 From 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily

(a)  the northern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 30 metres east of the same junction;

(b)  the northern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 85 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 165 metres east of the same junction;

(c)  the southern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 130 metres east of the same junction (except metered parking spaces);

(d)  the southern kerbside lane of Farm Road from a point about 150 metres east of its junction with Tin Kwong Road to a point about 170 metres east of the same junction; and

(e)  the section of Ying Choi Path from its junction with Farm Road to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction.

 From 8.00 am to 10.00 am and from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm daily, except general holidays

(a)  the southern kerbside lane of Farm Road from its junction with Ma Tau Wai Road to a point about 20 metres west of the same junction; and

(b)  the northern kerbside lane of Farm Road from its junction with Ma Tau Wai Road to a point about 60 metres west of the same junction.

  Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

  (a)  picking up or setting down passengers; or
  (b)  loading or unloading goods.

  The extent of the restricted zones has been indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

  At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
