Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in the vicinity of Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate by phases:
Phase 1
With effect from 11 January 2021 to 31 January 2021:
(I) Temporary Goods Vehicle Parking Space Arrangement
The existing 8.00 pm to 8.00 am daily goods vehicle parking space on the western kerbside lane of Chun Yat Street will be reduced by 25 metres in length. At the same time, another 8.00 pm to 8.00 am daily goods vehicle parking space of 25 metres in length will be provided on the northern kerbside lane of Chun Wang Street west of Chun Yat Street.
Phase 2
With effect from 1 February 2021 to 31 October 2022:
(I) Temporary Relocation of Bus Stops
The bus stops of KMB Route Nos. 98, 290B, 298E and 298F, NWFB Route Nos. 796E, 796X, 797 and 797M on Chun Yat Street southbound near Chun Cheong Street will be relocated to a point about 100 metres south of the existing locations.
(II) Temporary Goods Vehicle Parking Space Arrangement
The existing 8.00 pm to 8.00 am daily goods vehicle parking space on the western kerbside lane of Chun Yat Street will be reduced by a total of 125 metres in length. At the same time, another 8.00 pm to 8.00 am daily goods vehicle parking space of 125 metres in total length will be provided on the northern kerbside lane of Chun Wang Street west of Chun Yat Street.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Bus companies will display notices at the stop to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
