Transport Department Notice

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements
on Chui Ling Road, Tseung Kwan O

　　Notice is hereby given that to facilitate civil works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in the vicinity of Chui Ling Road, Tseung Kwan O from 9.30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily from 12 to 15 and from 18 to 22 January 2021:

I.   Road Closure

The section of Chui Ling Road between the ingress of Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee Campus) and Po Shun Road will be temporarily closed for all vehicular traffic.

II.   Traffic Diversions

           Vehicles affected by the above road closure will be diverted as follows:

(1) Vehicles on Po Shun Road southbound heading Chui Ling Road westbound will be diverted to travel via roundabout and King Ling Road westbound;

(2) Vehicles on Chui Ling Road eastbound heading Po Shun Road northbound will be diverted to travel via King Ling Road northbound and roundabout;

(3) Vehicles on Chui Ling Road eastbound heading to Po Yap Road eastbound will be diverted to travel via King Ling Road northbound, roundabout and Po Shun Road southbound; and

(4) Vehicles on Po Yap Road westbound heading to Chui Ling Road westbound will be diverted to travel via Po Shun Road northbound, roundabout and King Ling Road westbound.

III.  Public Transport Services Arrangements

(A)   Franchised Bus Services

(1) KMB Route 290X on its journeys to Tsuen Wan will be diverted to travel via Po Shun northbound, roundabout, King Ling Road westbound and Chui Ling Road eastbound before resuming its original routing.

(2) NWFB Routes 798, 796C, 796X and 694 on their journeys to Tseung Kwan O, NWFB Routes 796C and 796X on their journeys to Kowloon, and NWFB Route 792M on its journeys to Sai Kung, will be diverted to travel via roundabout, King Ling Road westbound and Chui Ling Road eastbound before resuming its original routing.

(3) KMB Route 290X, NWFB Routes 792M and 792P and CTB Routes A29P, E22A and E22S on its journeys to Tseung Kwan O will be diverted to travel via (i) Chui Ling Road westbound, King Ling Road northbound and roundabout or (ii) Chui Ling Road westbound, King Ling Road northbound, roundabout and Po Shun Road southbound before resuming its original routing.

(4) CTB Routes A29P and E22A on its journeys to the Airport and CTB Route E22S on its journeys to Tung Chung will be diverted to travel via Tong Yin Street southbound before resuming its original routing.

(5) The existing bus stop for CTB Routes E22A and E22S at Po Yap Road westbound near Park Central will be temporarily relocated to the bus stop at Tong Yin Street westbound near Alto Residences.

(B)   Green Minibus Services

             NT GMB Routes 110 (Kowloon City bound), 110A (Kowloon Bay bound) and 114B will be diverted to travel via Chui Ling Road westbound, King Ling Road northbound, roundabout and Po Shun Road southbound before resuming its original routing.

             Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to inform passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements.
