ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Extension of Temporary Speed Limit in Yau Ma Tei

　　In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 15 January 2021 to 10.00 am on 12 July 2021, the following sections in Yau Ma Tei will be temporarily subject to the following speed limit:-

(a)　50 kilometres per hour

The section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from a point about 220 metres south of its junction with Jordan Road to a point about 135 meters north of the same junction;

(b)　70 kilometres per hour

(i)  The section of West Kowloon Highway southbound from a point about 135 metres north of its junction with Jordan Road to a point about 485 meters north of the same junction; and

(ii)  The section of Lin Cheung Road southbound from a point about 135 metres north of its junction with Jordan Road to a point about 405 meters north of the same junction.

　　Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists.

　　At the same time, the existing speed limit on the above section of road will be temporarily rescinded.
