ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374) 

Restricted Zones on Un Chau Street and Castle Peak Road, Cheung Sha Wan 

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 5.00 pm on 28 January 2021, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a)   the section of Un Chau Street from its junction with Castle Peak Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction; and

(b)   the eastern kerbside lane of Castle Peak Road from its junction with Un Chau Street to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction.

      Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from: 

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)   loading or unloading goods. 

      The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings. 

      At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road section will be rescinded.
