Restricted Zones in Hoi Shing Road, Tsuen Wan

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 22 January 2021, the following road sections in Tsuen Wan will be designated as restricted zones during the time specified below:

(I)   8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. daily restricted zone

The southern kerside lane of Hoi Shing Road from a point about 70 metres west of its junction with Hoi Kok Street to a point about 185 metres west of the same junction

(II)  24 hours daily restricted zones

(a)   The northern kerside lane of Hoi Shing Road from a point about 15 metres west of its junction with Hoi Kok Street to a point about 70 metres west of the same junction; and

(b)   The southern kerside lane of Hoi Shing Road from a point about 60 metres west of its junction with Hoi Kok Street to a point about 70 metres west of the same junction

      Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)   loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.

      At the same time, the existing restricted zones on the above road sections will be rescinded.
