ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374, SUB. LEG. G)
Restricted Zones on Shan Kwong Road and Tsui Man Street, Happy Valley
In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 am on 5 February 2021, the following road sections on Shan Kwong Road and Tsui Man Street will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:
(a) the eastern kerbside lane of Shan Kwong Road from a point about 10 metres north of its junction with Tsui Man Street to the northern kerbside lane of Tsui Man Street from a point about 15 metres east of its junction with Shan Kwong Road; and
(b) the eastern kerbside lane of Shan Kwong Road from its junction with Tsui Man Street to the southern kerbside lane of Tsui Man Street from a point about 5 metres east of its junction with Shan Kwong Road.
Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:
(a) picking up or setting down passengers; or
(b) loading or unloading goods.
The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
