Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Pak Wo Road, North District
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the road works on Pak Wo Road, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 00.30 midnight to 05.30 am on 11, 16, 18 and 25 March 2021 as specified below.
(I) ROAD CLOSURE
The following road sections will be temporarily closed for all vehicular traffic:
1. Pak Wo Road eastbound from its junction with Wah Ming Road to its junction with the slip road leading to Fanling Highway southbound;
2. The slip road leading from Pak Wo Road eastbound to Fanling Highway southbound;
3. The slip road (Exit 7C) leading from Fanling Highway northbound to Pak Wo Road eastbound; and
4. The access Road leading from Tai Wo Service Road West northbound/Wo Hing Road eastbound to Jockey Club Road.
(II) TRAFFIC DIVERSION
1. Vehicles on Yat Ming Road southbound and Pak Wo Road eastbound heading for Tai Po and Kowloon will be diverted via Wah Ming Road westbound, roundabout, Wo Hing Road eastbound, Tai Wo Service Road West southbound, Lam Kam Road Interchange and Tolo Highway southbound;
2. Vehicles on Yat Ming Road southbound and Pak Wo Road eastbound heading for Heung Yuen Wai will be diverted via Wah Ming Road westbound, roundabout, Wo Hing Road eastbound, Tai Wo Service Road West southbound, Fanling Highway northbound and the slip road leading to Lung Shan Tunnel;
3. Vehicles on Yat Ming Road southbound and Pak Wo Road eastbound heading for Fanling Highway southbound will be diverted via Wah Ming Road westbound, roundabout, Wah Ming Road eastbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout and Fanling Highway southbound;
4. Vehicles on Yat Ming Road southbound and Pak Wo Road eastbound heading for Jockey Club Road will be diverted via Wah Ming Road westbound, roundabout, Wah Ming Road eastbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound and Jockey Club Road southbound;
5. Vehicles on Wah Ming Road eastbound heading for Fanling Highway southbound will be diverted via Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout and Fanling Highway southbound;
6. Vehicles on Wah Ming Road eastbound heading for Jockey Club Road will be diverted via Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound and Jockey Club Road southbound;
7. Vehicles on Fanling Highway northbound heading for Jockey Club Road will be diverted via the slip road leading to So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound and Jockey Club Road southbound; and
8. Vehicles on Tai Wo Service Road northbound/Wo Hing Road eastbound heading for Jockey Club Road will be diverted via Wo Hing Road westbound, roundabout, Wah Ming Road eastbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound and Jockey Club Road southbound.
(III) PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICES ARRANGEMENTS
(A) Franchised Bus Services
1. KMB route no. 277X (Lam Tin Bound) after Dawning Views stop will be diverted via Wah Ming roundabout, Wo Hing Road eastbound, Tai Wo Service Road West southbound, Lam Kam Interchange and Fanling Highway southbound before resuming its original routing. The en-route stop at Fanling Highway Interchange will be temporarily suspended;
2. KMB route nos. 70K (Sheung Shui Bound) and 277X (Luen Wo Hui Bound) after Dawning Views stop will be diverted via Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, Jockey Club Road southbound and San Wan Road westbound before resuming their original routing. The en-route stop at Tong Hang will be temporarily suspended;
3. KMB route no. 279X (Luen Wo Hui Bound) after Wah Sum Estate stop will be diverted via Yat Ming Road northbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, Jockey Club Road southbound and San Wan Road westbound before resuming its original routing. The en-route stop at Tong Hang will be temporarily suspended;
4. KMB route no. 673 (Sheung Shui Bound) will be diverted via So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, Jockey Club Road southbound and San Wan Road westbound before resuming its original routing. The en-route stop at Tong Hang will be temporarily suspended; and
5. LWB route no. N42A (Luen Wo Hui bound) will be diverted via Yat Ming Road northbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road eastbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout, So Kwun Po Road eastbound and Jockey Club Road southbound before resuming their normal routeing. The en-route stop at Tong Hang will be temporarily suspended.
(B) Green Minibus Services
GMB route no. 501S (Kwun Tong bound) will be diverted via Wah Ming Road westbound, roundabout, Wo Hing Road eastbound, Tai Wo Service Road West southbound, Tai Wo Service Road West southbound and Tai Po Road – Tai Wo Section southbound before resuming its normal routeing.
Appropriate traffic aids will be erected on site. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
