TRAFFIC ADVICE
Commissioning of New Parking Meters in Southern District
Motorists are advised that, with effect from 8.00 am on 12 March 2021, the following new parking meters will be put into operation:
- 11 new parking meters covering 20 existing metered parking spaces on Beach Road;
- 4 new parking meters covering 6 existing metered parking spaces on Tai Tam Reservoir Road;
- 1 new parking meter covering 2 existing metered parking spaces on Carmel Road;
- 4 new parking meters covering 7 existing metered parking spaces on Shek O Headland Road;
- 3 new parking meters covering 4 existing metered parking spaces on Stanley Beach Road;
- 3 new parking meters covering 6 existing metered parking spaces on Stanley Link Road;
- 2 new parking meters covering 3 existing metered parking spaces on Stanley Mound Road; and
- 2 new parking meters covering 4 existing metered parking spaces on Wong Ma Kok Road.
The details of the metered parking spaces at the specified locations are as follows:
Beach Road (meter nos. 57-64 and 66-67), Carmel Road, Stanley Link Road and Wong Ma Kok Road
Operating period: 08.00 am - 12.00 midnight daily on Mondays to Saturdays (except public holidays);
10.00 am - 10.00 pm daily on Sundays and public holidays
Longest parking period for each transaction: 2 hours
Parking fee: $2.00 for every 15 minutes
Beach Road (meter no. 65)
Operating period: 08.00 am - 12.00 midnight daily on Mondays to Saturdays (except public holidays);
10.00 am - 10.00 pm daily on Sundays and public holidays
Longest parking period for each transaction: 30 minutes
Parking fee: $2.00 for every 15 minutes
Tai Tam Reservoir Road and Shek O Headland Road
Operating period: 08.00 am - 08.00 pm daily
Longest parking period for each transaction: 2 hours
Parking fee: $2.00 for every 15 minutes
Stanley Beach Road and Stanley Mound Road
Operating period: 08.00 am - 12.00 midnight daily on Mondays to Saturdays (except public holidays);
10.00 am - 10.00 pm daily on Sundays and public holidays
Longest parking period for each transaction: 1 hour
Parking fee: $2.00 for every 15 minutes
