ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)

Restricted Zones on Tai Mong Tsai Road, Sai Kung

      In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation (14)(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 27 April 2021, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:

(a)   the northern kerbside lane of Tai Mong Tsai Road from a point about 135 metres east from its junction with the roundabout connecting to Sai Sha Road to about 170 metres east of the same junction;

(b)   the southern kerbside lane of Tai Mong Tsai Road from a point about 135 metres east from its junction with the roundabout connecting to Sai Sha Road to about 165 metres east of the same junction;

(c)   the northern kerbside lane of Tai Mong Tsai Road from a point about 150 metres east from its junction with Yan Yee Road to about 170 metres east of the same junction; and

(d)   the southern kerbside lane of Tai Mong Tsai Road from a point about 160 metres east from its junction with Yan Yee Road to about 180 metres east of the same junction.

      Within the restricted zones, drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from:

(a)   picking up or setting down passengers; or

(b)   loading or unloading goods.

      The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs and road markings.
