TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on San Ha Street, Chai Wan
Members of the public are advised that to facilitate construction works for Cape Collinson Chinese Permanent Cemetery at Chai Wan, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented on San Ha Street from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm daily between 3 May 2021 and 3 August 2021:
I. Banning of Turning Movement
i) All vehicles on Wing Ping Street southbound will be prohibited from making right turn onto San Ha Street westbound; and
ii) All vehicles on Fu Tsui Street will be prohibited from making left turn onto San Ha Street westbound.
II. Traffic Diversion
i) Affected vehicles on Chai Wan Road westbound heading for San Ha Street will be diverted via Chai Wan Road westbound, Chai Wan Road roundabout and Chai Wan Road eastbound; and
ii) Affected vehicles on Fu Tsui Street heading for Chai Wan Road westbound will be diverted via San Ha Street eastbound and Wing Ping Street northbound.
III. Diversion and temporary arrangement of GMB Service
The first departure from 3 May 2021 to the last departure on 3 August 2021
HKI GMB Route Nos. 47M and 47E on journeys to Chai Wan Station will be diverted via Chai Wan Road westbound, before resuming their original routings. GMB stops on San Ha Street will be suspended. Temporary stops will be provided on Chai Wan Road near Wing Ping Street and Chai Wan Road near CNEC Lau Wing Sang Secondary School.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. The public transport operator will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangement.
