Transport Department Notice

Temporary Traffic Arrangements on Ma Sik Road in Fanling, North District

      Notice is hereby given that to facilitate tree removal works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented daily from 9.00 pm to 6.00 am the following day from 5 July 2021 to 15 July 2021 as specified below. 

(I)   ROAD CLOSURE

All vehicles on Ma Sik Road eastbound will be temporarily prohibited from turning left onto Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau northbound.

(II)  TRAFFIC DIVERSION

1.   Vehicles on Ma Sik Road eastbound heading for Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau northbound will be diverted:

a.   via Fan Leng Lau Road southbound, Wo Muk Road eastbound and Luen On Street eastbound; or

b.   via Wo Tai Street southbound and Luen On Street eastbound; or

c.   via Sha Tau Kok Road - Lung Yeuk Tau southbound and Jockey Club Road Roundabout northbound.

2.   Vehicles on Wo Tai Street eastbound heading for Ma Sik Road eastbound will be diverted via Ma Sik Road westbound, Luen Chit Street southbound, Wo Muk Road eastbound and Luen On Street eastbound.

      Appropriate traffic aids will be erected on site. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
