Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Central District

      Notice is hereby given that to facilitate works, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented during the periods specified below:

Road Closure

Mosque Junction, the section of Peel Street south of Caine Road and Mosque Street will be intermittently closed from 10.00 am to 11.00 am and from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm daily on the dates specified below:

(i)   From 26 to 28 July 2021;

(ii)  From 2 to 6 August 2021;

(iii) From 9 to 13 August 2021; and

(iv) From 16 to 18 August 2021

Temporary Suspension of Escalator Service

The section of the Central to Mid-Levels Escalator and Walkway System ("the System") between Mosque Junction and Mosque Street (i.e. escalators 18E) will be temporarily suspended during the above periods.

During the suspension of the escalators, affected pedestrians are advised to use the staircase beside the escalators. 

      Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on-site to guide motorists and pedestrians.
