Members of the public are advised that, starting from the first departure on 17 October 2021 (Sunday), a new electronic payment service would be launched on Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 54, 54M and 54S.

        Passengers choosing this service for paying the fare are required to download the corresponding mobile application onto their smartphones, activate the specific function in that application before boarding, and use the scanner next to the Octopus reader to scan the QR code generated from the application for fare payment.

        For details of the above scheme, please refer to the operator's notice. Other than this payment method, passengers can continue to use cash or Octopus for fare payment.
