TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Junction Road, Kowloon City
Motorists are advised that to facilitate road works, with effect from 1.30 am to 5.30 am daily on Mondays to Fridays from 15 November 2021 to 31 December 2021, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Junction Road:
Road Closure
The section of Junction Road northbound near Prince Edward Road West will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
Banning of Turning Movement
(i) All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making left turn movement from Prince Edward Road West eastbound onto Junction Road northbound; and
(ii) All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn movement from Prince Edward Road West westbound onto Junction Road northbound.
Traffic Diversion
(i) Affected vehicles from Prince Edward West eastbound heading for Junction Road northbound will be diverted via Grampian Road northbound, Dumbarton Road eastbound and Junction Road.
(ii) Affected vehicles from Prince Edward West westbound heading for Junction Road northbound will be diverted via Prince Edward Road West westbound, U-turn, Prince Edward West eastbound, Grampian Road northbound, Dumbarton Road eastbound and Junction Road.
Public Transport Arrangement
Routing of overnight GMB route no. 66S (Mong Kok to Hammer Hill Road) after Prince Edward Road West will be temporarily diverted via Grampian Road northbound, Dumbarton Road eastbound and Junction Road northbound before resuming its original routing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected to guide motorists. The public transport operator will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
