TRAFFIC ADVICE
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Stanley
Members of the public are advised that, to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented during the periods specified below:
I. From 9.00 pm on 17 November 2021 to 6.00 am on 18 November 2021
(a) Traffic Arrangements
The following road sections will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane-two-way traffic:
(i) The section of Stanley Gap Road from its junction with Stanley Village Road to a point about 185 metres west of the same junction;
(ii) The section of Stanley Village Road from its junction with Stanley Gap Road to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction; and
(iii) The section of Tai Tam Road from its junction with Stanley Gap Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction.
(b) Suspension of Bus Stop
The bus stop for CTB Route Nos. 6, 73 and 260 at Stanley Gap Road after Stanley Gap Road Interchange will be temporarily suspended.
II. From 9.00 pm on 18 November 2021 to 6.00 am on 19 November 2021
(a) Traffic Arrangements
The following road sections will be temporarily converted from two-lane two-way traffic into one-lane-two-way traffic:
(i) The section of Stanley Gap Road from its junction with Stanley Village Road to a point about 30 metres west of the same junction;
(ii) The section of Stanley Village Road from its junction with Stanley Gap Road to a point about 40 metres west of the same junction; and
(iii) The section of Tai Tam Road from its junction with Stanley Gap Road to a point about 45 metres east of the same junction.
Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorist. The bus company will display notices at bus stops to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
