Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Fanling Highway

        Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the road works on Fanling Highway, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented during the periods as specified below.

(I)   Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed:

24 November 2021 (from 10.00 p.m. to 01.00 a.m. of the following day)
    1. The slow lane and hard shoulder of Fanling Highway northbound from a point about 250m metres south of its junction with Exit 7B to a point about 100m north of the same junction will be temporarily closed. Motorists could still use the remaining traffic lanes to Fanling/Sheung Shui.
25 November 2021 (from 01.00 a.m. to 06.00 a.m.)
    1. The slip road leading from Hong Lok Yuen Road to Fanling Highway northbound;
    2. The slip road leading from Heung Yuen Wai Highway to Fanling Highway northbound; and
    3. The section of Fanling Highway northbound from its junction with Tolo Highway to So Kwun Po Road roundabout.
(II)  Traffic Diversion
25 November 2021 (from 01.00 a.m. to 06.00 a.m.)
    1. Vehicles on Tolo Highway northbound or Heung Yuen Wai Highway southbound heading for Fanling will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange, Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road westbound, Pak Wo Road northbound and Jockey Club Road northbound;
    2. Vehicles on Tolo Highway northbound or Heung Yuen Wai Highway southbound heading for Sheung Shui will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange, Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road southbound, Wah Ming Road roundabout, Wah Ming Road northbound, Pak Wo Road westbound, So Kwun Po Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout and Fanling Highway northbound;
    3. Vehicles on Tolo Highway northbound heading for Heung Yuen Wai will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange, Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road westbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, Jockey Club Road northbound, slip road, Fanling Highway southbound, and Heung Yuen Wai Highway;
    4. Vehicles on Lam Kam Road Interchange or Hong Lok Yuen Road westbound heading for Fanling will be diverted via Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road westbound, Pak Wo Road northbound and Jockey Club Road northbound;
    5. Vehicles on Lam Kam Road Interchange or Hong Lok Yuen Road westbound heading for Sheung Shui will be diverted via Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road southbound, Wah Ming Road roundabout, Wah Ming Road northbound, Pak Wo Road westbound, So Kwun Po Road northbound, So Kwun Po Road roundabout and Fanling Highway northbound; and
    6. Vehicles on Lam Kam Road Interchange or Hong Lok Yuen Road westbound heading for Heung Yuen Wai will be diverted via Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road westbound, Pak Wo Road northbound, Jockey Club Road northbound, slip road, Fanling Highway southbound, and Heung Yuen Wai Highway.
(III) Public Transport Service Arrangements
25 November 2021 (from 01.00 a.m. to 06.00 a.m.)
  1.   Franchised Bus Services
    1. KMB Route Nos. 270A (Sheung Shui bound), 270S (Luen Wo Hui bound) and 278X (Sheung Shui bound) will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange, Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road southbound, Wah Ming Road roundabout, Wah Ming Road northbound and Pak Wo Road westbound before resuming their normal routeing;
    2. KMB Route No. 277X (Luen Wo Hui bound) will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange, Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road southbound and Wah Ming Road roundabout before resuming its normal route The en-route stop at Wo Hing Tsuen will be temporarily suspended; and
    3. LWB Route No. N42A (Luen Wo Hui bound) will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange, Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road southbound, Wah Ming Road roundabout, Wah Ming Road northbound, Pak Wo Road westbound, So Kwun Po Road northbound and So Kwun Po Road roundabout before resuming its normal route
  2.   Green Minibus Services
    1. GMB Route No. 501S (Sheung Shui bound) will be diverted via Lam Kam Road Interchange, Tai Wo Service Road West northbound, Wo Hing Road southbound and Wah Ming Road roundabout before resuming its normal routeing.
        Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions on site and drive in utmost care.
