Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements at Kwei Tei Street, Fo Tan

            Member of public are advised that in order to facilitate road works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 10.00 am to 17.00 pm daily on 22 and 29 January 2022:

(A)    Road Closure

The section of Kwei Tei Street westbound between the egress of Fo Tan Chun Yeung Estate Public Transport Lay-by and Shan Mei Street will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.

(B)    Ban Turning

All vehicles will be temporarily prohibited from making right turn movement from Kwei Tei Street eastbound onto Shan Mei Street.

(C)    Traffic Diversion

1. 1. Affected vehicles on Kwei Tei Street eastbound will be diverted via roundabout and Kwei Tei Street westbound to Shan Mei Street; and

   2. Affected vehicles on Kwei Tei Street westbound will be diverted via Shan Mei Street southbound, Sui Wo Road westbound and Wong Chuk Yeung Street northbound.

(D)   Public Transport Arrangement

1. 1. KMB Route Nos. 88X, 285 and NWFB Route No. 798 (Fo Tan bound) will be diverted via Sui Wo Road westbound, Wong Chuk Yueng Street northbound and Kwei Tei Street eastbound.

   2. GMB Route No. 60K (Fo Tan bound) will be diverted via Kwei Tei Street westbound, Shan Mei Street southbound, Sui Wo Road westbound and Wong Chuk Yeung Street northbound.

            Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Public Transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements.
