ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374)
Restricted Zones on Tai Tam Road and Tai Tam Reservoir Road, Southern District


        In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m.
on 14 April 2022, the following road sections will be designated as restricted zones 24 hours daily:-

    1. The northern kerbside lane of Tai Tam Reservoir Road from its junction with Tai Tam Road to a point about 15 metres west of the same junction;
    2. The western kerbside lane of Tai Tam Road from its junction with Tai Tam Reservoir Road to a point about 30 metres north of the same junction;
    3. The eastern kerbside lane of Tai Tam Road from its junction with Tai Tam Reservoir Road to a point about 40 metres north of the same junction;
    4. The northern kerbside lane of Tai Tam Reservoir Road from its junction with Tai Tam Road to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction;
    5. The southern kerbside lane of Tai Tam Reservoir Road from its junction with Tai Tam Road to a point about 15 metres east of the same junction; and
    6. The eastern kerbside lane of Tai Tam Road from its junction with Tai Tam Reservoir Road to a point about 5 metres south of the same junction.

        Within the restricted zone, drivers of all motor vehicles, except franchised buses and those with permits issued by the Commissioner of Transport, will be prohibited from:-

    1. picking up or setting down passengers; or
    2. loading or unloading goods.

        The extent of the restricted zones will be indicated by appropriate road markings.
