TRAFFIC ADVICE

Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Ap Lei Chau

Members of the public are advised that to facilitate the drainage works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented from 6.00 pm on 15 June 2022 to 6.00 pm on 31 July 2022:-

I. Temporary Traffic Arrangements

A. Road Closure

The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:

1. 1. The section of Yi Nam Road northbound between South Horizon Drive and Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road; and
  2. The section of Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road westbound between Yi Nam Road and Yi Nga Drive.

B. Traffic Diversion

1. 1. Affected vehicles on Yi Nam Road northbound will be diverted via South Horizon Drive westbound and South Horizon Drive eastbound; and
  2. Affected vehicles on Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road westbound will be diverted via Yi Nam Road southbound, South Horizon Drive westbound and South Horizon Drive eastbound.

II. Temporary Transport Arrangements

A. Bus and Green Minibus (GMB) Diversion

The following bus and GMB routes will be temporarily diverted:

CTB Route No. 99 (after 10.00 pm daily)	To Shau Kei Wan	via Yi Nam Road southbound, Lee Nam Road, Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road westbound and Ap Lei Chau Bridge Road eastbound
CTB Route No. N90	To Central
XHT Route No. 171 (after 11.45 pm on Mondays to Saturdays and after 11.30 pm on Sundays and Public Holidays)	To Lai Chi Kok
GMB Route Nos. 37 and 63	To Ping Lan Street/ Queen Mary Hospital	via South Horizon Drive westbound and South Horizon Drive eastbound

B. Temporary Bus and GMB Stop Arrangement

In connection with the bus and GMB diversion, the following bus and GMB stops will be temporarily suspended or provided:

Appropriate traffic signs will be provided on site to guide motorists. Public transport operators will put up notices to advise passengers of the above temporary transport arrangements.
