Traffic Advice
Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements on Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong
Motorists are advised that to facilitate light maintenance works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Kwun Tong:
(I) From 0.01 am to 5.30 am daily on 27 June 2022 and 28 June 2022
(1) Lane Closure
(a) The fast lane of Kwun Tong Road eastbound between Horse Shoe Lane and Kwun Tong Road underpass eastbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
(b) Kwun Tong Road underpass eastbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(2) Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on Kwun Tong Road eastbound will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road eastbound, roundabout and Kwun Tong Road eastbound.
(3) Public Transport Arrangements
KMB Route Nos. 14, 14X, 15, 16, 38, 42C, 62X, 89D, 98, 215X, 258D, 259D, 277E, 277X, 296A and 296C, CTB Route Nos. A29, E22, E22A and NA29, NWFB Route Nos. 796S and N796, Hong Kong Island GMB Route No. 61, Kowloon GMB Route Nos. 23B, 23M, 62S and 63 and New Territories GMB Route Nos. 10M, 102 and 102S will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road eastbound, roundabout, Kwun Tong Road eastbound and then resume original routeing.
(II) From 0.01 am to 5.30 am daily on 4 July 2022 and 5 July 2022
(1) Lane Closure
(a) The fast lane of Kwun Tong Road westbound between Tsui Ping Road and Kwun Tong Road underpass westbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic; and
(b) Kwun Tong Road underpass westbound will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic.
(2) Traffic Diversion
Affected vehicles on Kwun Tong Road westbound will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road westbound, roundabout and Kwun Tong Road westbound.
(3) Public Transport Arrangements
KMB Route Nos. 11C, 14, 15, 62X, 80X, 83X, 89C, 98, 258D, 259D, 268C, 269C and 296A, CTB Route Nos. E22 and NA29, NWFB Route Nos. 796S and N796, Hong Kong Island GMB Route No. 61 and New Territories GMB Route Nos. 102 and 102S will be diverted via Kwun Tong Road westbound, roundabout, Kwun Tong Road westbound and then resume original routeing.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists. Motorists are advised to observe the instruction and drive with utmost care. Notices will also be displayed by public transport operator to advise passengers of the above arrangement.
