TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Extension of Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Yau Ma Tei
Notice is hereby given that to facilitate the Central Kowloon Route construction works, the following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will continue to be implemented in Yau Ma Tei from 1.00 am to 6.00 am daily from 1 August 2022 to 30 September 2022:-
I. Traffic Arrangements
A. Road Closure
The following road sections will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(i) The section of Gascoigne Road Flyover southbound from its junction with West Kowloon Corridor southbound to its junction with Chatham Road South;
(ii) The section of Gascoigne Road Flyover westbound from its junction with Gascoigne Road to its junction with Ferry Street;
(iii) The slip road of Ferry Street southbound near Shek Lung Street leading to Gascoigne Road Flyover eastbound; and
(iv) The slip road of Gascoigne Road Flyover westbound near Kansu Street heading for Yau Ma Tei.
B. Lane Closure
The following traffic lanes will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic:
(i) The section of fast lane on West Kowloon Corridor southbound between Boundary Street and Gascoigne Road Flyover southbound; and
(ii) The fast lane on Lai Cheung Road eastbound from its junction with Waterloo Road to a point about 45 meters west of the same junction.
C. Traffic Diversions
(i) Affected vehicles on West Kowloon Corridor southbound heading for Gascoigne Road Flyover southbound will be diverted via Ferry Street southbound, Jordon Road eastbound and Gascoigne Road eastbound; and
(ii) Affected vehicles on Chatham Road South westbound heading for Gascoigne Road Flyover westbound will be diverted via Gascoigne Road westbound Kansu Street westbound and Ferry Street northbound.
II. Transport Arrangement
Bus Diversions
(i) KMB Route No. N368 (Central (Macau Ferry) bound) will be temporarily diverted via Ferry Street southbound, Jordan Road eastbound and Gascoigne Road eastbound before resuming its original routing; and
(ii) KMB Route No. N368 (Yuen Long bound) will be temporarily diverted via Chatham Road South northbound, Gascoigne Road westbound, Kansu Street westbound and Ferry Street northbound before resuming its original routing.
Appropriate traffic signs have been erected on site to guide motorists. The public transport operators will display notices to advise passengers of the above temporary arrangements.
