TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTICE
Temporary Traffic Arrangements in Shau Kei Wan
Notice is hereby given that, the following temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 9.00 pm on 5 September 2022 to 5.00 am on 6 September 2022 in Shau Kei Wan to facilitate construction works:
A. Road Closure
Tung Wong Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicular traffic (except vehicles heading for Sing Tao News Group Building).
B. Banning of Turning Movement
- all vehicles on A Kung Ngam Village Road westbound will be prohibited from making right turn onto Tung Wong Road; and
- all vehicles on A Kung Ngam Village Road eastbound will be prohibited from making left turn onto Tung Wong Road.
C. Traffic Diversion
- affected vehicles on A Kung Ngam Village Road westbound heading for Tung Wong Road will be diverted to make a right turn onto Tung Wong Road at the western junction of Tung Wong Road and A Kung Ngam Village Road; and
- affected vehicles on A Kung Ngam Village Road eastbound heading for Tung Wong Road will be diverted via Tung Hei Road westbound, A Kung Ngam Village Road eastbound and make a left turn onto Tung Wong Road at the western junction of Tung Wong Road and A Kung Ngam Village Road.
D. Suspension of Metered Parking Spaces
Bus metered parking spaces (meter nos. 2516A and 2516B) at Tung Wong Road outside Sing Tao News Group Building will be temporarily suspended.
Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.
