Special Traffic and Transport Arrangements in Tuen Mun
for Chung Yeung Festival 2022


          The following temporary traffic and transport arrangements will be implemented in Tuen Mun from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily on 17, 18, 24, 25 September, 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 15 and 16 October 2022 for the Chung Yeung Festival:

(A) Road closures

The following sections of roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic (except for emergency vehicles and police vehicles):

    • Tsing San Path; and
    • The access roads leading to Ching Chung Koon and Ching Chung Sin Yuen.

(B) Removal of Illegally Parked Vehicles

Any vehicles found illegally parked at the following locations will be prosecuted and towed away by the Police without prior notice:

    • San Fuk Road;
    • The section of Tsing Chung Koon Road between Tsing Chung Path and San Fuk Road;
    • The section of Tsing Lun Road between Tsun Wen Road and the Northern vehicle entrance of Tuen Mun Hospital; and
    • The section of Tsun Wen Road southbound between Tsing Lun Road and San Fuk Road.

(C) Road Conversion

    • The section of Tsing Chung Koon Road between Tsing Lun Road and San Fuk Road will be converted to one-way northbound traffic; and
    • The section of San Fuk Road between Leung Shun Street and Tsing Chung Koon Road will be converted to one-way westbound traffic.

(D) Provision of temporary passenger pick-up and drop-off points

Three temporary loading and unloading points will be provided at Tsing Chung Koon Road northbound opposite to Castle Peak Hospital, Tsing Chung Koon Road northbound opposite to Tuen Mun Hospital and Tsing Lun Road westbound outside Tuen Mun Hospital.
