In exercise of the powers vested in me under section 40(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Ordinance, Chapter 374, I hereby direct that with effect from 12.00 midnight on 16 October 2022 to 1.00 a.m. on 15 October 2023, the section of Fanling Highway northbound from a point about 220 metres north of Fanling Highway Interchange to a point about 200 metres north of its junction with the slip road leading to Pak Wo Road (Exit 7C) will continue to be temporarily subject to a speed limit of 70 kilometres per hour.

          Appropriate traffic signs will be erected on site to guide motorists.

          At the same time, the existing speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour on the above road section will continue to be temporarily rescinded.
