Service Enhancement of New Territories Green Minibus Route
Nos. 503 (Queens Hill Estate – North District Hospital) and 503K (Queens Hill Estate – Spot)
Members of the public are advised that the services of New Territories Green Minubus Route Nos. 503 and 503K will be enhanced with effect from 31 October 2022 (Monday). Details are as follows :
I. Increase of MTR Interchange Fare Discount
- The current interchange discount that is offered to passengers who interchange from Route Nos. 503 or 503K to MTR service or from MTR service to the above routes within 90 minutes using the same Adult Octopus card will be increased from $0.3 to $1.0.
II. Extension of the Student Concessionary Fare
- The existing student concessionary fare ($3.9) for the above routes will be extended until 31 December 2022. From 1 January 2023, passengers shall pay the full fare ($7.9).
III. Extension of the Service Hours of Route No. 503K
- The first departure from Queens Hill Estate will be advanced to 6.00 am on Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays).
IV. Service Enhancement of Route No. 503K
- Departures from 6.00 am to 10.00 am and from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays) will be strengthened to 6 - 8 minutes headway; and
- Departures from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays) will be strengthened to 12-15 minutes headway.
Notices will be displayed by the GMB operator to inform passengers of the above arrangements.
