ROAD TRAFFIC (TRAFFIC CONTROL) REGULATIONS (CHAPTER 374 SUB. LEG. G)
Temporary Prohibited Zones for Vehicles Exceeding 8 Metres in Length on Des Voeux Road West and Praya, Kennedy Town, Western District

       In exercise of the powers vested in me under regulation 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic (Traffic Control) Regulations, Chapter 374 sub. leg. G, I hereby direct that with effect from 10.00 a.m. on 29 November 2022 to 10.00 a.m. on 21 March 2023, the following road sections will be temporarily designated as prohibited zones for vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length 24 hours daily:

(a) the section of Des Voeux Road West westbound between Hill Road and Queen's Road West; and

(b) the section of Praya, Kennedy Town westbound between Queen's Road West and Collinson Street.


       Drivers of all motor vehicles, except those with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport, will be prohibited from driving vehicles exceeding 8 metres in length into the above prohibited zones.

       The extent of the prohibited zones will be indicated by appropriate traffic signs.
